California Sage for Smudging

Loose Sage and Sage sticks are available in California Sage. The sticks are 4 inches in length. The loose sage packets are 50 grams each. Sage is a wonderful tool that can be used to remove stale and negative energy from your house or any space. Smudging has been traditionally used to safeguard against negativity that could interfere with sleep. It's also been used to improve sleep and soothe anxiety.

How to use sage?

Light the sage stick in a safe manner. Hold it over the flame at an angle, and allow it to light up. Blow out the flame.
Once the flame goes off and the stick is smoking, walk around your space so that the smoke reaches every point in the room/home.
Open a window or door to let out the smoke.
Allow the stick to burn out using an abalone shell to hold it/or any other container you may wish to use.
The stick can be put out and reused again.
Loose sage can be used in a sage burner or any metal container.

How long does it take for the smudging to show its effect?

Usually, the effect is instant and you should be able to feel the energy lighten up in a few minutes after saving.
We recommend smudging at least two to three times a week, or whenever the energy feels heavy or negative.
