Tabasco Geodes, also known as Illianites, are the world's smallest geode formations. Their sizes are usually between 0.5 inches to 2 inches. Most of them are a combination of Agate and Quartz and have the healing properties of both. The outer side is usually agate with quartz druzies within the cavity. The beautiful colors make them a delight to have around too. They are in pairs and also work as wish caves. They come from Zacatecas, Mexico, near the city of Tabasco. They were very popular for making jewelry in the 70s and had completely disappeared. They were found once again in the last couple of years after almost 50 years.
