Rudraksha is the dried seed of the Rudraksha (Elaeocarpus ganitrus)tree and is associated with the Hindu God Shiva. These are often strung together and worn for protection or used for chanting. The word Rudraksha in Sanskrit comes from the word Shiva (Rudra) combined with the word “teardrops”. It is believed the Rudraksha Tree in India is the place of the Buddha’s enlightenment. Rudraksha helps in moving towards spiritual ascension and connecting with Lord Shiva. When combined with clear Quartz, the properties of rudraksha are amplified and enhanced.
