Axinite Mineral Specimen
Axinite is a rare, translucent clove-brown gemstone with flashes of violet and gray. It was first discovered in Bourg d'Oisans in France. Axinite is a complex aluminum calcium borosilicate. Its name comes from the Greek word axine, meaning axe due to the sharp edges found in this mineral. It is a powerful grounding mineral and works with the earth star chakra and the root chakra. It is a stone of awareness and helps us see the truth in situations. It helps in letting go of the past and understanding when our attempts are not going to help and that we should move on.
