Orthoclase (Carlsbad Twin) Mineral Specimen
This rare Orthoclase (Carlsbad Twin) specimen is from Water Canyon Cinco, Kern County, California, USA, which is a classic U.S. feldspar locality. A Carlsbad twin is a specific type of crystal twinning where two orthoclase crystals grow interpenetrated and rotated about 180° relative to each other, and look like two offset rectangular prisms fused together. We have sourced it from the Tucson Gem and Mineral show, USA 2023. It weighs approximately 31.1 gms.
Orthoclase, or orthoclase feldspar is an important tectosilicate mineral which forms igneous rock. It is a type of potassium feldspar, also known as K-feldspar.
Orthoclase is known as the stone of rejuvenation and helps improve the flow of energy. It helps bring harmony and cooperation between people working together in partnership. It helps to detach from emotions and find new or alternate ways to achieve goals. It will help anyone with improving self-confidence and self-esteem.
The Twin formation energy is associated with alignment, mental clarity, and stabilizing energy fields.
